            Andrew W. Ward
            Founder &
            Managing Partner

            Andrew Ward is Founder and Managing Partner of Clearstream, which he founded in 2017. He is the Chairman of Clearstream’s Investment Committee and is responsible for overall investment, asset management, capital raising activities, strategic planning, and operations of Clearstream, including the implementation and oversight of Clearstream’s ESG policies. Mr. Ward has over 25 years of experience in private equity, the majority of which he has spent focused on various subsectors within the energy industry. Prior to founding Clearstream, Mr. Ward was a Partner of Riverstone Holdings, LLC, which he joined in 2002. In addition to leading many of Riverstone’s significant midstream energy infrastructure investments, Mr. Ward was also a member of the investment committee where he oversaw the firm’s capital allocation and strategic decision making for transactions spanning all traditional and renewable energy subsectors and geographies.

            During his career, Mr. Ward has served on various boards of directors and actively served on various committees of such boards, including the boards of Bridger LLC, Buckeye GP LLC, Gibson Energy, HES International, Hestya Energy, Mainline Management LLC, Mistral Energy, Niska Gas Storage, PVR Partners L.P. (Penn Virginia Resource Partners, L.P.), SemGroup and USA Compression.

            Prior to Riverstone, Mr. Ward was a Partner and Managing Director with Hyperion Partners/Ranieri & Co., a private equity firm focused on principal investments in the financial services, real estate, securitization finance, consumer and corporate finance sectors. Prior to Hyperion, he was an Associate in the High Yield Finance Group at Merrill Lynch, where he specialized in acquisition financing and M&A transactions involving financial sponsors. Mr. Ward began his private equity career as a Senior Financial Analyst at Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Merrill Lynch, which managed private equity capital for leveraged buyouts across a wide range of industries.

            Mr. Ward also serves on the board of the Stratton Family Fund and is a trustee of The American Museum of Fly Fishing.

            Mr. Ward received his A.B. from Dartmouth College and his M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

            M. Alexander Popp
            Partner

            Alex Popp is a Partner of Clearstream, which he joined in 2017. He is a member of Clearstream’s Investment Committee and is responsible for sourcing, diligence, execution, and management of the firm’s investment and capital raising efforts. Prior to joining Clearstream, Mr. Popp was a Principal at Outfitter Energy Capital, a Houston-based middle market private equity firm focused on investments in the upstream energy sector. Outfitter was formed by the investment team of TPH Partners (formerly the private equity affiliate of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co.) upon separation from the parent company at the end of 2016. During his time as both a Principal at Outfitter and a Vice President at TPH Partners, Mr. Popp was involved in sourcing, diligence and ongoing management of the platform’s upstream investments in various basins across the United States’ Lower 48. Mr. Popp has significant experience working with portfolio investments across crude oil and natural gas producing regions such as the Permian, Marcellus/Utica and Gulf Coast.

            Prior to Outfitter/TPH Partners, Mr. Popp was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in its Natural Resources Investment Banking Group, covering energy companies primarily in the upstream and oilfield services sectors. Prior to Goldman, Mr. Popp began his career in energy as an Associate with Morgan Stanley’s Natural Resources Investment Banking Group, focusing on master limited partnerships in the midstream energy sector.

            Mr. Popp received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.

            John M. Sartorius III
            Partner

            John Sartorius is a Partner of Clearstream, which he joined in 2017. He is a member of Clearstream’s Investment Committee and is responsible for sourcing, diligence, execution, and management of the firm’s investment and capital raising efforts. Prior to joining Clearstream, Mr. Sartorius was an Executive Director in the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley in New York and Houston, with a focus on sourcing and executing corporate mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions primarily in the midstream energy and logistics sector.

            Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Sartorius worked for Barclays in the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group and was based in Houston. In addition to covering the midstream energy sector for Barclays, Mr. Sartorius also covered companies in all parts of the energy value chain.

            Mr. Sartorius received his B.A. from Trinity College (CT) and his M.B.A. from Rice University.

            William E. Pearce
            Managing Director,
            Head of Investor Relations

            Bill Pearce is a Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations for Clearstream, which he joined in 2025. He is responsible for the Firm’s investor relations and capital raising efforts. Prior to joining Clearstream, Mr. Pearce was a Managing Director at InfraRed Capital Partners, a London based global infrastructure firm where he led the North American capital formation efforts of the firm. Prior to InfraRed, Mr. Pearce was a Managing Director at First Avenue where he was responsible for both distribution and new business development across the midwestern US. Mr. Pearce began his career in the Energy and Infrastructure space at First Reserve, where he was a member of the Investor Relations team, focusing on capital raising, portfolio analysis and project management across the firm’s investor base.

            Mr. Pearce received a B.S. in Economics from Duke University and he is a CFA charterholder.

            Cynthia R. Faustino
            Director of Administration

            Cynthia Faustino is Director of Administration of Clearstream, which she joined in 2018. Prior to joining Clearstream, Mrs. Faustino managed a family office with domestic and international real estate assets. Mrs. Faustino has over 20 years’ experience at financial services firms, particularly emerging investment banking firms, where her responsibilities have included a diverse set of administrative, operational management and bookkeeping duties.

            Mrs. Faustino received her B.S. from Marist College.

            Pearson J. Riley
            Associate

            Pearson Riley is an Associate of Clearstream, which he joined in 2023. He is responsible for diligence, execution, and management of the firm’s investment and capital raising efforts. Prior to joining Clearstream, Mr. Riley was an Analyst at Piper Sandler in its Energy & Power Investment Banking Group, covering energy companies primarily in the oilfield services and renewables sectors. While at Piper Sandler, Mr. Riley focused on merger, acquisition, and divestiture advisory, as well as financing and restructuring projects.

            Mr. Riley received his B.B.A. and B.A. from Baylor University.
